Draft service terms
Website Design Terms of Use.
These terms are a working draft and should be reviewed before the service fully launches.
1. Project scope
Each website project will be based on an agreed scope describing the pages, features, platform, content responsibilities, price, and revision limits.
2. Client content
The client is responsible for providing accurate business information and confirming that supplied text, photos, logos, trademarks, and other materials may legally be used.
3. Revisions
Included revision rounds will be stated in the quote or agreement. New pages, major redesigns, changed requirements, or additional revisions may require an updated quote.
4. Payments
Deposits, payment schedules, and final-payment requirements will be stated before work begins. Work may pause when required payments or information are not received.
5. Timelines
Estimated completion dates depend on project complexity, timely client feedback, content delivery, third-party services, and hosting access. Dates are estimates unless explicitly guaranteed in writing.
6. Third-party services
Domains, hosting, premium tools, stock assets, templates, plugins, payment processors, and other third-party services may have separate charges, licenses, and terms.
7. Ownership and portfolio use
Final ownership, source-file access, licenses, and portfolio permissions will be stated in the project agreement. Third-party materials remain subject to their original licenses.
8. Results
I do not guarantee search ranking, traffic, sales, leads, revenue, uptime, or any specific business outcome.
9. Client review
The client is responsible for reviewing names, prices, contact details, policies, spelling, legal wording, links, and all other content before approval and launch.
10. Maintenance
Ongoing updates, security monitoring, backups, platform subscriptions, and maintenance are not included unless specifically listed in the agreement.
11. Cancellation
Cancellation and refund rules will depend on completed work, payments already made, third-party costs, and the written project agreement.

These draft terms may change as the website-design service is finalized.
